My Bio

I'm an old biker but not to old to ride yet, and hope I never get to a point that I can't ride! I'm the President of our riding chapter (Spirit Driven Cruisers) and have been for the last 4 years. I love to ride and have put over 45,000 miles on the bike I bought about 5 years ago. I'm not a fair weather rider. I ride year-round! I was born and raised in Elizabeth City, N.C. but have been living here in Georgia for the last 30 years.
I've been in carpentry and cabinetry for 35 years and will probably die there. I've always loved working with my hands. I love doing the things I do and the things I'm involved in!
It's always been hard for me to say NO when it concerns helping children in need! That's why I push to host a benefit ride every year for a child & family in need.Kids are our future and need guidance, direction, and support!
I also support our men and women of the armed forces. I not only ride with our chapter, but I'm a member of the Patriot Guard Riders also!
I'm also an Umpire for Girl's Fast Pitch Softball. Some of my friends say I must be a gluttin for punishment! Maybe, but I Love doing that also.
Maybe some day, some where we'll meet and shake hands because I'm a little like me Dad use to be - - he never met a stranger.
