My Bio

I Bought my first bike overseas while in the U.S.Navy, it was a brand new 1972 Yamaha 125 Enduro that was street legal. I brought it back to the states still in the crate and had 2 of my buddies help me put it together, it was stolen off the base 2 month's later. I have had 16 bikes since then and my 17th. is a 2005 Harley Sporster Custom with the screaming eagle performance package. I just lost a younger brother in a motorcycle accident in Yucca Valley California on 11-24-07. My family and I will always miss Joe and remember him for being in the service of Jesus. My family and I were surprised that over 200 people came to his funeral talking about his sense of humor and kind nature. We will always love and miss him and know that he left this world remembered fondly by many people.

My Interests and Hobbies

My main interest has changed to rider safety and awareness, I joined Abate of Colorado 2 years ago and have strongly pushed for the above mentioned things even before my brother was killed. My other interest is going for rides up in the Colorado Rockies with friends or even total strangers who just want to go on beautiful rides throughout the mountains. I also ride with 2 other local groups so I keep informed of many of the rides in this state, I think I am very lucky to live in some of the best riding routes in the country. (biased opinion of course)
