My Bio

Born in Kansas in 1938, but raised in the South Plains of Texas(West Texas), Education: BBA-University of Texas-Arlington, MS, Military Science-Command & General Staff College, PhD-Theocentric Psychology-LaSalle University. Profession: Business owner dealing in the manufacturing of material handling equipment for cotton, and industrial securement packaging equipment and supplies. Retired from active Army and Reserves, 24.5 years, Lt.Col. Life long athelte-attended college on full scholarship in football/track. Still compete in the sport of triathlon having finished my 300th in 2007, with 7 Ironman finishes including Kona, HI twice. When not training I ride the Hog in my spare time, plus bowl in a league every week.

My Interests and Hobbies

The sport of triathlon takes up a lot of our time in that we put on 6 triathlon events in Texas, including Lubbock, Dallas, and San Antonio. One of our events is 19 years old this year and brings in athletes from 42 states and 10 foreign countries. In addition we are creating a new motorcycle rally for Lubbock, Texas to debut in August, 2008. My other interests are in studying the American presidents and writing, with two self-published books and three in the outline stage.
