The first time I rode a motorcycle...

I had a smile you could not remove. I still have that same smile, today.

My Bio

Riding is my first love, but precision riding is my passion. Anyone can ride a motorcycle in a straight line, but not everyone rides their bike like it is capable of being ridden. Most riders are afraid to make the tight turns and get their bike to lean as far is it will possibly go at slow speeds. That is something I love doing. I fell in love with Harleys while in high school. A girlfriend of mine use to ride her Dads Harley, so she told me, but I had not seen it. One morning while I was walking to school, she pulled up next to me and asked me if I wanted a ride, I could not believe my eyes, sure enough, she was on her Dads Harley. The sound of the pipes, took my breath away. I guess I have always loved the loud sound of Harleys, because I was born on an Air Force Base in CA, you know jet engines are pretty loud. Ok, maybe that is not why, but I do love the sound of jet engines and Harleys. Since I cant fly a jet, I will stick with the Harleys. I had not seen a woman rider before in my life, so I was truly amazed. I climbed on and we rode the couple of blocks to school. That was it, I was hooked. It took 30 years for me to actually follow my dream, marriage and kids came first. The kids are grown and I wanted to ride, but was not even thinking about riding my own. I just wanted to ride bitch. But in my pursuit of someone to ride with, I quickly discovered there were very few men who where not already in a relationship. So one day I asked my brother Tim, what he thought about me getting my motorcycle endorsement and riding my own. I value my youngest brothers opinion, and was sure he would discourage me from riding my own, but I asked anyway. He said to go for it, he was thrilled I wanted to ride my own. With his help and patience, I am now riding my own, since 2005. In 2008 I met Marc Ward, who is an incredible rider and I wanted to be a better rider. I had fears and concerns about my abilities to ride my Dyna Superglide. With his assistance, I am now able to make maneuvers on my bike that most women can not make, let alone men.

Harleys can dance and I can not. But when I perform and that bike is moving around on the course, it is as if my bike and I are one. I pull in the clutch and roll on the throttle, and we move across the course, like a Swan moves on the water. Gliding across the asphalt like a dancer glides across the dance floor. She dips and turns, scraps and glides, showing all those watching that she has grace and style. Of course, this would not be possible without the proper training and practice. Check with your local motorcycle school about precision riding classes, you will be amazed at how much confidence you will have after taking a class. Or check out T3RG.com for a precision riding course, "Top Gun." You will no longer fear a hair pin turn or a U-Turn. You will be able to maneuver your bike in situations you only dreamed of being able to maneuver in.
