The first time I rode a motorcycle...
was when I was 14 yrs oldMy Bio
Hi ya'll,I drove my 1st bike (actually not mine) when I was 14. A friend came over and I asked if I could ride it and he said sure. I got on ( we lived in the country - thank God), and took off down the road. However, he forgot to tell me how to stop. I had to keep riding until I figured it out and turned around and went back home. It was only a 125c but it was awsome. I didn't ride again until I was about 14 when my sisters boyfriend came over and took me for a ride. From there I didn't get on a motorcycle until 1995 when I met the person that soon became my hubby. He had a 66 suzuki one luger. He wanted to take me for a ride but I refused until he put pegs on the back of the bike. A week later he showed up with pegs, and off we went. In 05 he purchased his 1st Harly sportster which had the littliest "B" seat on the back. Every time he'd take off I'd just about fall off. I got tired of that and how he rode that I started looking for one of my own. I found my baby on E-bay and within 6 hrs ( 8pm) we were on our way to pick it up. I went to work the next day but "pulled sick" and went home. Hubby was home sick already so I said "Let's go, I want you to take me ridin' ", which he thought I meant for him to ride me around on MY bike. I said "Hell no - your going to ride on yours an dme on mine". He took me down the road - I freaked out - and did not get back on for a week. The following weekend I told him the same thing and thins time we went farther. Ya, I dumped the bike for the 1st 6 months but after that , I'm good to go. I road her to work as often as possible and to events. I finally took the riding course 1.5 yrs later which helped with the butterflies that I was getting each and every time I'd go around a turn. I love to ride and go to as many events as money allows. Thanks for the opportunity to tall ya'll about my ride time.
