Brothers Of The Third Wheel,www.btw-trikers.org, was founded in 1983 by Jim Sickler. Its purpose is to unite trikers from around the world and help provide them with the information they need concerning trikes and triking. There are 5,365+ members from the United States, Canada and 15 other countries including the United KingdomNorthern Ireland and Austrailia. 
 
June 3rd through the 9th, 2007 is the “Third Annual - 3rd TRIKE WEEK 25th Anniversary Annual Trike-In at Forsyth, MO.
 
Thunder on the Smoky in Marquette, Kansas. Look out, Sturgis. Marquette’s Thunder on the Smoky is not yet the granddaddy of all motorcycle rallies but it is gaining.
 
The first-annual event drew about 800 people three years ago, and organizers estimated about 5,000 attended on May 19th, 2007.
 
Willie G. Davidson, received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the second annual Legend of the Motorcycle: International Concours d'Elegance Saturday, May 5, 2007, in Half Moon Bay, Calif., just south of San Francisco. Some 300 historically significant and remarkably unique motorcycles from around the world were on display at the Concours as well, many being either the first of their kind or the only existing of their kind. Approximately 200 of the rare motorcycles were judged by an international panel of experts. A few of the one-of-a-kind motorcycles included:
  • 1975 Harley-Davidson 350 MX 4-Shocker prototype
  • 1919 Excelsior OHVC Board Track Racer Replica
  •  1937 NKB Castle
  • 1st Vincent Rapide Prototype, 1946
  • 1st Vincent Black Shadow Production Model, 1948
  • 1st Four Prototypes of the Bernard Li Vincents, 2002
  • 1st Crocker C-4 Concept Model, 2007
  • 1st MV Agusta F4 CC, 2007
  • 1st Cagiva Mito 500 Factory Prototype, 2007
 
British and European Classic Motorcycle Day’s Sixth Annual event was held on May 21st, from 10 to 5 at Butler's Orchard in Germantown. The day was billed as one of the largest classic motorcycle events on the East Coast. This year's focus is the classic BMW because the brand "might be considered the best in this world for its technology" and German engineering, says Michael Bader, member of the event's board of directors.
 
United Spinal Association’s Motorsafe program stresses the following precautions:
• Never ride without a certified motorcycle helmet and eye protection.
• Read your owner’s manual thoroughly.
• Attend motorcycle rider educational classes.
• Wear the proper shoes, gloves and clothing.
• Purchase a bike you can handle safely.
• Consider the primary use of your bike––don’t buy a trail bike for highway use. Similarly, don’t buy a highway bike if most of your riding will be off road.
• Follow the rules of the road and drive defensively.
• Ride sober and awake.
 
Ohio Bike Week - North Coast Thunder Rally. Looking for 10 days days of motorcycle mahem? Then make plans to attend Ohio Bike Week taking place June 1- June 10, 2007 at the Erie County Fairgrounds in Sandusky, Ohio.
