The new F 800 R is radically different, and yet every inch a BMW. The state-of-the-art parallel twin engine with electronic fuel injection develops 87hp, not to mention a mighty 63 lb/ft of torque. And with the specially designed silencer its sound is every bit as impressive as its performance. ((

The 320-millimeter Brembo double disk brake at the front ensures maximum stopping power, while optional BMW Motorrad ABS and Tire Pressure Monitor further enhance safety. The F 800 R is also highly maneuverable, thanks in part to the lightweight aluminum in its rigid frame and dynamically styled double swing-arm, which helps keep its dry weight down to just 390 lbs. Handling is incredibly precise thanks to the fuel tank located under the seat for a lower center of gravity. ((
