Overnight trips usually require extra clothing and gear items to accommodate increased variations in weather conditions, leisure, social and night time. Extended travel may also mean lights out and increased chances of an emergency. Travel on Saturdays and Sundays in remote areas usually means supplies, including gear and parts, are difficult to access. Anticipate your needs and pack accordingly.
This Trip Packing Planner includes suggestions that will add to the comfort and safety of your trip. Every motorcyclist should customize his/her packing according to individual taste and requirements, as well as, to accommodate the weather during the trip. This list will help you get started while simplifying the packing process.
If you place soft fabric items in a nylon compression bag, you will be amazed how much space you can save!
Always create and leave an itinerary with a family member or in a visible location at home so your family members can locate you if necessary!
