New Digital Gear indicator from Harley-Davidson

The new Digital Gear Indicator (P/N 70900038 Chrome, P/N 70900078 Black; $219.95), from Harley-Davidson® Genuine Motor Accessories, eliminates gear-selection guesswork.

Conveniently located on the handlebar for line-of-site viewing, the bright LED display is easy-to-read with a quick glance. When the clutch is engaged, the display indicates the current gear, or a large “N” when the transmission is in the neutral position.

A built-in photocell automatically adjusts the display for improved visibility in direct sunlight, and dims the display at night to reduce distraction. Plug-and-play installation requires no wire splicing or complicated programming.

Available in chrome or satin black finish, the complete kit includes a self-contained LED and control module, control housing, wiring harness and required mounting hardware. Fits many 2007-later VRSC, Sportster®, Dyna®, and Touring models, and 2007-10 Softail® models. It may not fit with some other accessories. See an authorized Harley-Davidson dealer for fitment details.

Harley-Davidson Motor Company produces heavyweight custom, cruiser and touring motorcycles and offers a complete line of Harley-Davidson motorcycle parts, accessories, riding gear and apparel, and general merchandise.
