New accessories from Harley-Davidson, December 2009

Chrome Inner Primary Cover Trim for Dyna models, Mini Footboards to replace traditional footpegs, and adjustable Highway Bar for Softail models add style and comfort to Harley-Davidson accessories options.

Chrome Inner Primary Cover Trim for Dyna models creates a chrome finish for the engine cases.

The new Chrome Inner Primary Cover Trim (P/N 60849-10, $139.95) from Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Accessories fits 2006-later Dyna models with mid-controls. Designed to wrap the top surface of the painted inner primary cover, these mirror-chrome, die-cast and steel shells give the engine cases a more-finished look. Easy to install, the two-piece covers are secured with the outer primary hardware, and held in place at four points for quiet operation. The tight tolerances and smooth edges provide a solid, one-piece look. The kit includes required mounting hardware. For a complete custom look, consider adding a Chrome Cylinder Base Cover and Classic Chrome Socket Head Screw Covers (sold separately). Chrome Inner Primary Cover Trim is also available for Harley-Davidson Touring and Softail models. See an authorized Harley-Davidson dealer for fitment details.

Harley-Davidson mini footboards replace footpegs adding comfort and support to passenger and forward-control positions.

The Mini Footboard Kit (P/N 50451-09, $109.95) from Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Accessories can be installed in place of traditional footpegs to standard H-D®-style footpeg supports, and can be used in many rider and passenger applications. A little larger than a bicycle pedal, Mini Footboards can be pivoted to the best angle for maximum riding comfort, additional leg support, and to provide more options for foot location. The sole-gripping horizontal black-rubber bands complement the mirror-chrome finish, and add vibration isolation and a rich appearance. Complete the look with Shifter Pegs and Brake Pedal Pads from the Chrome and Rubber Collection.

They also fit passenger male mount style footpeg supports on most models. See an authorized Harley-Davidson dealer for fitment details.

Wiskers adjustable highway bar for Softail models are adjustable fore and aft to match rider leg length.

The new frame-mounted Whiskers Adjustable Highway Bar (P/N 50855-09 chrome, 50865-09 black; $199.95) from Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Accessories can be pivoted fore and aft to accommodate rider inseam length, and locks in place with a common Allen wrench. The easy-to-install bar features a three-point mounting system that grips both down tubes. The Whiskers Adjustable Highway Bar accepts a variety of H-D®-style, male-mount footpegs (sold separately). Available in mirror-chrome or gloss black finish to fit 2000-later Softail® models. See an authorized Harley-Davidson dealer for fitment details.
