Harley-Davidson Screamin' Eagle/Vance & Hines rider Ed Krawiec is the 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle world champion. Krawiec clinched the title with a second-round win at the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals at Auto Club Raceway that eliminated Lucas Oil Buell rider Hector Arana Jr., the only rider in the field with a chance to overtake Krawiec for the championship. Krawiec advanced to the final round and lost to his Harley-Davidson Screamin' Eagle/Vance & Hines teammate Andrew Hines, who finished the season third in points.
AMA Pro Racing announced today that Barber Motorsports Park will once again play host to the stars of AMA Pro Road Racing, becoming the seventh track to renew for the 2012 season.

Triple Dakar Rally winner Marc Coma of Spain has renewed his contract as a factory rider with KTM, the Sportsmotorcycle specialist brand from Austria. Coma will continue to compete for KTM in top international rallies and has expressed his desire to stay loyal to the brand where he started his career as a factory rider.
Harley-Davidson Screamin' Eagle/Vance & Hines rider Ed Krawiec won the opening round of the NHRA Full Throttle Countdown to the Championship drag-racing playoffs, extending his lead in the series to 63 points. Krawiec rode a Harley-Davidson V-Rod to the top qualifying spot for the event, and won four rounds in Sunday eliminations, defeating Geico Suzuki ride Karen Stoffer in the final to win his third event of the season.
