Despite operating in a market that is still trying to recover from the economic downturn, retail buyer attendance at Dealer Expo was up 7% over the 2010 show.
This increase in buyers says a great deal about the direction the Powersports market is headed, and makes a strong statement that Dealer Expo is the place to be when it’s time to buy. While the overall base of dealers has shrunk some 21%* in the last year, the fact that Dealer Expo achieved an increase in attendance over 2010 is an encouraging sign that Powersports business is once again on the upswing.
Dealer Expo initiated a number of new programs for the 2011 show, all designed to increase the value delivered to attendees and exhibitors. The new space in the renovated and expanded Indiana Convention Center provided numerous enhancements at the show and set the stage for Dealer Expo heading into the future.
From expanded educational programs, to product features and demonstrations on the show floor, to increased opportunities for interaction between attendees and exhibitors, Dealer Expo is committed to increasing the show value to attendees and exhibitors.

The new exhibit hall space, complete with 11 product and lifestyle marketplaces, increased the efficiency for attendees and made the show more navigable. “When I wanted to check out a specific part or accessory, it was very easy to find,” said Dean McCracken from Fun Bike Center in Lakeland, Florida. “Because the new show layout meant less time spent walking between booths, I was able to meet with every supplier and manufacturer I wished this year.”
Dealer Expo remains the #1 place for the Powersports industry to come together, don’t miss it in 2012!
