Lehman Trikes, Victory Motorcycles, and the Legendary Buffalo Chip, are proud to announce this year’s Good Turn Trike recipient, Steven Iler of Southport, Florida! Steven was chosen among hundreds of applications for his patriotic involvement, philanthropic nature, and need for a trike after injuries sustained while serving in Iraq.
Steven was as an Infantryman in the U.S. Army when he was struck in the left leg with an RPG (Rocket Propelled Grenade). After his release from Walter Reed Army Medical Center, a neighbor, a Vietnam veteran, encouraged him to get his motorcycle endorsement and join the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association.
Steven got his endorsement and found a new life in motorcycle riding with his “brothers”. Since then, Steven has joined many Veteran groups and is very active in his community honoring veterans and active duty soldiers, teaching children what it means to be an American, and bringing his dogs to the local Veteran’s Nursing Home for resident therapy.
“We are very proud to have Steven as this year’s recipient,” states Ken Hines, President and CEO of Lehman Trikes. “He is a true patriot and we are excited to be able to provide him with this beautiful trike so he can further reach out supporting our military.

While all veterans are deserving, Steven is the embodiment of the Good Turn Trike recipient.”
Steven will be presented the Good Turn Trike, a custom-painted, patriotic themed 2011 CrossBow powered by the Victory Vision, which was generously donated by Victory Motorcycles. The presentation will take place on August 11th during the Freedom Celebration at the Legendary Buffalo Chip. Steven and his wife, Tammy, will also receive deluxe accommodations compliments of the Fairfield Inn in Spearfish, SD and V.I.P. treatment at the Legendary Buffalo Chip.
“Victory is proud to supply the Victory Vision Tour for this important program.” says Steve Menneto, General Manager, Polaris Motorcycles. “Every rider on the road owes a debt of gratitude to the men and women who have served in the armed forces. What better way to thank a soldier who can’t ride a traditional motorcycle anymore, than to give them the gift of riding a Lehman Trike through the country they defended – especially one based on an American made motorcycle?”
States Rod Woodruff, CEO of the Legendary Buffalo Chip, "Not enough can be said for our troops and their families who make such great sacrifices for the way of life we have inherited and so strongly desire to pass on to future generations of Americans. We're likewise proud of companies like Victory and Lehman that dedicate corporate AMERICAN resources to help us all to remember, honor and respect. The Sturgis Buffalo Chip is very pleased for the privilege of hosting the Lehman All Trike Ride and reception for these fine folk, and having the Good Turn Trike presented on its stage."
The Good Turn Trike is a program sponsored by Lehman Trikes. The recipient is a person that illustrates the program’s motto of “one good turn deserves another”.
