Revive Your Ride! Fall Giveaway Promotion Starts in October

The Revive Your Ride! Fall Giveaway promotion is back to help drive floor traffic and this year it includes all-new VIP prize packages for a couple of lucky participating retailers. This successful annual promotion runs Oct. 15 through Dec. 31 this year, offering retail customers the chance to win one of three great prizes:

  • Grand prize           $10,000
  • First Place              $ 2,500
  • Second Place        $ 1,000

These prizes are awarded in the form of pre-loaded debit cards, which can be spent buying gear, parts, accessories, service, whatever the customer wants.

For the first time, participating powersport retailers also have a chance to win, in this case one of two very special VIP weekend prize packages to the 2012 Dealer Expo, Feb. 16-19 in Indianapolis. This very useful VIP package includes a $500 travel voucher, three-night hotel stay, food, parties and more. The dealer of the Grand Prize winner and one other retailer, picked at random, will each win a Dealer Expo VIP package.

“For no money at all, retailers can give their customers a shot at winning $10,000, $2,500 or $1,000,” said Cam Arnold, vice president aftermarket at the Motorcycle Industry Council. “It’s another good way to bump up customer traffic, it supports new product introductions, helps move older product, encourages customers to come in for end-of-season service, offers another holiday gift idea for customers and much, much more. We’re also excited about the VIP package for participating retailers. Someone’s going to win each prize, and two retailers will go to Indianapolis.”

The promotion requires no investment from retailers.

Click here to sign up.   The retailer receives two promotion posters and will have unlimited access to online downloadable flyers, postcards and other digital assets. In addition, each retailer is issued a unique dealer code and is listed on the dealer locator on the public Revive your Ride! website.

It’s easy and free for retail customers, too. They enter the Revive Your Ride! Fall Promotion by getting the entry code from their dealer. Next, they go to www.reviveyourride.org, enter the entry code and complete the online entry form. That’s it. Winners will be notified on or after Jan. 17, 2012. Revive Your Ride! was created and is funded by the aftermarket members of the Motorcycle Industry Council specifically to build excitement for two-wheeling and to bring the riding community back to the many retailers of motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, service and aftermarket parts and accessories.

The Motorcycle Industry Council exists to preserve, protect and promote motorcycling through government relations, communications and media relations, statistics and research, aftermarket programs, development of data communications standards, and activities surrounding technical and regulatory issues. It is a not-for-profit, national industry association representing manufacturers and distributors of motorcycles, scooters, motorcycle/ATV/ROV parts and accessories, and members of allied trades such as insurance, finance and investment firms, media companies and consultants.

The MIC is headquartered in Irvine, Calif., with a government relations office near Washington, D.C. First called the MIC in 1970, the organization has been in operation since 1914.
