About 60 Harley-Davidson VRSC owners gathered together for the V-rodforums.com Homecoming Rally at Basswood Resort in Platte City, Mo., September 21 through 24.
The four-day rally featured a group ride to Vehicle & Powertrain Operations in Kansas City, visits to dealerships, technical demonstrations and a dyno shootout. The Powertrain Operations visit featured a tour of the facility, question and answer sessions with Harley-Davidson employees and a group photo in front of the building.
Members of the v-rodforums.com Web site organized this special gathering of V-Rod owners to meet each other in person and talk about their bikes.
"The visit to Powertrain Operations was a highlight because it was an opportunity to go back to the V-Rod’s roots," said Max Millender, the forum's founder.
