Accessory3 BungeeLug is designed to be attached to Harley-Davidson Softail docking hardware or to hard luggage typically installed on some Harley-Davidson motorcycles. When installed, the BungeeLug provides for a stable contact point or points to attach a bungee cord hook, cargo net hook, or other similar tie down system. Your luggage and or gear, up to 25 lbs, is secured and paint surface is preserved as long as BungeeLugs are installed as recommended by Accessory3.
The BungeeLug fits these Harley-Davidson motorcycles:
- 2000 and later Softail docking hardware for detachable racks, handrails, tourpak racks and sideplates.
- 2003 and later FLSTF, FLSTFSE2, FXST, FXSTB, FXSTS, FXSTC, FLSTFB, FLSTSB, AND FXSTSSE/2/3.
- 2005 and later FLSTN and FLST.
- 2005-2007 FLSTSC.
- 2007 FLHRSE3.
- 1997 to 2008 Touring except FLHTCUI and '07-'08 FLHRSE3/4.
- 2009 and later FLHR, FLHRC, FLHT, FLHX, FLTR, FLTRX, FLTRXSE, FLHXSE/2/3, FLTRSE3.

Background...
Accessory3 brings unique experience and engineering to product design opportunities for motorcyclists. While this is a “product review” of the Accessory3 BungeeLug, it is also about the Company and it’s Founder. We had the opportunity to meet and travel with Ron Hutchinson several years ago while he continued his work at Harley-Davidson.
Ron Hutchinson is Founder and Leader of the Accessory3™. His professional experience includes engineering, manufacturing, quality, service and divisional leadership positions at Cummins, Ford and 34 years at Harley-Davidson.
During his H-D career, Ron started and led the renewal of Quality in the Eighties, led the Softail program, made H-D University a roaring success, led the growth of the Parts & Accessories business from a corporate afterthought to the industry leading aftermarket provider of H-D parts and accessories, created Custom Vehicle Operations and led the introduction of the H-D Trike to the marketplace.
After retiring as Senior Vice President from Harley-Davidson® in 2009, Ron knew that his love of motorcycling could not simply wither away. His involvement and success with product development, accessories, and motorcyclists while at Harley-Davidson, and his inclinations toward understanding motorcyclists’ growing need for practical solutions for ride enhancements sparked his interest in developing Accessory3.
In Ron’s words:

The BungeeLug is an extension of Hutchinson's unique vantage point while at Harley-Davidson. This product is very well designed and manufactured to integrate well with the design features of a stock Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
For $34.95 you can obtain a pair of the BungeeLugs. You can attach up to three bungee cords to each BungeeLug.
Accessory3 provides the required hardware allowing the BungeeLug tie-down to mount to Harley-Davidson model motorcycles having Harley-Davidson Docking Point attachment features for their detachable accessories. This is especially useful in avoiding the need to hook a bungee cord under the edge of a fender, which could move and may damage your paint.

All you need to supply is tools and ability to follow the very detailed instructions for installation. Installation should take no longer than 15 to 30 minutes.
